burnd and the routine builder

GetBurnd presents burnd, a training app for compatible Garmin watches. The routine builder is free to use and calculates a plan from your selected program, duration, level and environment. It does not create a Garmin account or record an activity.

The Garmin app provides four programs with adjustable duration and level. Phases advance automatically once you start the session. Planned targets and recorded watch readings are separate; unavailable sensor values may appear as dashes.

Workout guidance

Generated speeds, inclines and durations are planned targets. The routine builder does not assess your fitness, health or equipment. Choose settings appropriate for you and your equipment, and adjust or stop a session when needed.

The website and app are training tools, not medical advice. You control the treadmill settings yourself. A watch reading is not verified treadmill belt speed or incline.

Checkout and purchases

The activation page shows whether checkout and activation are available. This page is not an announcement that burnd is available to buy or listed in an app store.

When enabled, checkout opens on Polar. For a purchase processed there, Polar acts as merchant of record and reseller. Review the final price, currency, taxes and Polar Buyer Terms before paying. Payment details are entered on Polar, not in the burnd activation form. For billing or refund questions about a Polar transaction, use the information in your receipt and Polar’s Buyer Terms.

Your Garmin license

A burnd for Garmin purchase provides a personal license to use all four programs on compatible Garmin watches. The one-time product is not a subscription. It does not include unreleased Apple Watch or Wear OS apps. Keep your license key private and do not distribute it for other people to use.

First activation needs an internet connection. After a successful activation, valid saved access permits offline workouts. An uncertain network response preserves that saved access. Once a watch receives confirmation that a license is inactive, future starts can require reactivation. A refund or revocation cannot immediately reach a watch that stays offline. Recording and saving an existing workout do not depend on a payment request.

Watch activation

Activation links a verified burnd license to an installation using the current six digit code on your watch. Use a license key you are entitled to use and keep it private. Returning from checkout does not activate your watch; enter the key and watch code, then wait for confirmation on the watch.

Codes expire after ten minutes. A failed or interrupted request can be retried while the code is valid. A purchase confirmation or checkout URL alone cannot grant access. The activation service does not receive your workout recordings. Its data handling is described in the Privacy Policy.

Content and permitted use

You may use the routine builder to plan your own sessions. Do not disrupt the site or misrepresent its original branding and designs as your own. Third party fonts, icons and photographs retain their respective rights and licenses, listed on the Licenses page.

External services

Garmin operates its own store, account and activity services. Polar operates its checkout and licensing services. GetBurnd is independent of Garmin and Polar. Opening an external link takes you to a service with its own terms and privacy practices.
